Last visit to UP - What you doing?
The Troyster's last visit will be Watford on a Wednesday night - I've already booked Wed and Thurs off work... Gonna try and tick off...

Ken's Café for bacteria on toast
Wander round the old girl
Pay my respects at the WORLD CUP statue
Early start in the Boleyn TAVERN (rarely go in there but might as well give it one last visit)

Anything authentically West Ham I should fit in?? Hang around the station looking menacing etc?

Re: Last visit to UP - What you doing?
Unless I can get a ticket for the man utd replay I had mine against Sunderland. Just hung around green st for a bit, took plenty of photos including loads of me and the old man. After FT I stood at the front of the BMU with moist eyes saying goodbye to the old girl, then my dad roused me by saying telling me to get a fucking move on cos he needed a shit.

Crystal Palace is scheduled to be my last game.

On this occasion I shall:

Buy a half and half scarf.

Buy a programme

Buy some Murray Mints to consume during the match (old family tradition )

Stand with my arms aloft during bubbles to officially be a LAD.

Give a wanker sign to the away supporters from the comfort of the West Lower.

End up hanging out the back of Mrs Algar in a really pissed state.

Good times.

Re: Last visit to UP - What you doing?
Not really thought about it.

Part of me wants to do my normal routine, the other part wants to get the train up early and have a good drink.

Will decide nearer the time.

Congrats Holy, although I'm sure all will be fine without Dad for a few days. We are basically useless cunts when it comes to that stuff anyway. All the best.

Cheers PD, Missus due to give birth to our second nipper on 27th April so trying my best to get back as quick as I can.

Now if the baby comes along late this could cause a real dilemma!

Re: Last visit to UP - What you doing?
I had my last visit to UP, Wolves at home when we went up under Sam.

I left my flat in Battersea, got the tube over to Canning Town, dropped in on my Aunt. Bus to the Denmark, beers, watch the game, when we couldn't win the league me and my MATES left early went back to the Denmark.

That was that, first set foot in the place in 1981 when I was just shy of my 5th birthday.

Flying in for the Man U game that afternoon. And then fly back out the next morning!

Will do all the usual stuff. Greengate cafe, Boleyn for one last drink, meet all the usual crew, few photos and that.

Only my third game on me season ticket this year, mates and family have enjoyed the rest of the games. Just HAVE TO be home for this though.

Re: Last visit to UP - What you doing?
Might actually have a drink in the Village (is it still there?) as I've never done that.

Is the Bubble Blowers website still going? they had a list of pubs on there, some of which I'd never ventured too.
